Must Have

Kforce's client, a major service organization, is adding an Accounting Manager to their team in Red Bank, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity (bonus eligible) that and offers exceptional fringe benefits as well as with room for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting functions such as the General Ledger, AP, AR, and Internal Controls
  • Manage US GAAP compliance, closings, subsequent financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, inter-company and subsidiary reporting, as well as expense and variance analysis
  • Support annual and operational audits
  • Foster collaboration and sharing of strategic information for use by internal partners
  • Supervising, mentoring, and succession planning staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred, but not required
  • 5-10+ years of professional experience in construction, architecture or engineering accounting
  • GAAP, SOX, and Regulatory Reporting with government subcontractor experience
  • Leadership experience with supervising and developing staff
  • Exceptional communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
